Marian J. "June" Miller

Marian J. “June” Miller – affectionately called “Mama June”, born September 17, 1935 in Kingsport, TN, left this earthly home to walk the streets of gold in Paradise with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May12, 2012 in Mobile, AL. She attended Fountain of Life Church and was adored by all who knew her. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She has made her journey home to reunite with her husband and be with Jesus. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Raymond “Buddy” Miller; sisters, Jane Seargent and Charlene Childers; and parents, Charles Ellis, Jr. and Nell Ellis. She is survived by her children, Danny Miller (Fran) and Susan Miller Pack; grandchildren, Daniel Jacob Miller, Bobbi Sue McConaghy (John Daniel), and Samantha Pack; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Miller and Caroline and Cambrey McConaghy; sisters, Joann Jones, Helen Porter, and Dorthea Porter; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff and members of Fountain of Life Church; lifelong friends, Marian and Julian Etheredge; neighbors, Ralph and Barbara Griffin, Gail and Seale Williamson, and June Whittington; and numerous other friends she adored. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 15, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
