

Mildred Jackson was born in Bolinger, AL on February 2, 1927. On Saturday, April 22, 2017, age 90, she went home and is resting in the arms of Jesus. She is now with her beloved husband of 64 years, J.C. who passed away on January 30, 2017.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jane Todd and brothers, Laverne and Jimmy Todd. She is survived by her son, Greg (Marlene) Jackson, daughter, Pam “Pandi” (David) Bennett, grandchildren; Stephen Jackson, Amy Robinson, Melissa (Tyler) Jemison and Chad (Ling) Jackson, great grandchildren; Matthew Robinson, Sydney and Emma Jemison. She is also survived by her brothers; Bill (Fayne) Todd and Jerry (Betty) Todd and sisters; Sandra (Bill) Pipkin and Jakie (Mac) McBrayer.
The Todd family relocated to Mobile County in 1944. Mildred attended and graduated from Murphy High School.
She met J.C. in 1951 and they were married on June 20, 1952. They built a home in Chickasaw where they raised their children. Mildred had a career in banking and retired from Merchants National Bank after 25 years of service. She and J.C. moved to Fairhope in 1983 where they enjoyed their retirement years.
Mildred was a faithful member of the Loxley Church of God where visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Funeral services will be held in the church starting at 2:00 with Interment immediately following at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
