Ollie Cooper - age 82, born in Castleberry, AL on November 14, 1930, and lifelong resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Helen Cooper. He is survived by his children, William Cooper (Pam), Jeffrey Cooper, Janet Burrows (Jug), Pam Stokley (Jeff), and Cricket Lockett (Chris); mother-in-law, Melvina McCormick; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his four-legged buddy, Tanner; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
