Pat was born December 27, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama to Milledge Winford and Mary Lucille Salley. The youngest of seven children, she grew up, lived, and died in the small town she loved so much, Satsuma, Alabama. She graduated Satsuma High School in 1964 and two months later married the love of her life, Aithan Brewer. They have been married now for almost 62 years.
Her devotion to her family was one of the things she was best known for. Whether it was taking care of her ailing mother or helping out her siblings, Pat was always there for you. She adored her husband and was proud of her two daughters, but when her grandchildren came along, another level of devotion took over. She loved them with all her heart and spent as much time as possible with them while growing up, playing in the pool, going on vacations, never missing a football or soccer game, she never wanted to miss a thing.
Pat is survived by her dedicated, loving husband, Aithan Brewer; two daughters, Kim Gartman and Ashley Brewer; she leaves behind cherished grandsons, Aithan Gartman (Stephanie) and Garrett Gartman. Last, but certainly not least, she leaves a precious great-granddaughter, Madelynn Faith Gartman.
Graveside services and interment will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
