Patricia Lucas Phillips Harrison - This strong and special lady went to her Heavenly Home after a 5 year battle with cancer, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Born January 18, 1947 to Charles and Vivian Lucas of Axis, Alabama. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cecil, David, Ray, Levon, and Earl Lucas; sisters, Mazel Lucas Horn and Hazel Lucas Greer; first husband, John Steve Phillips; and first grandchild, Hannah Stringfellow. We know she had a joyous reunion in Heaven! Patricia left behind her 2 loving daughters, Tammy Phillips Stringfellow and Dana Phillips McDonald; sons-in-law, Bruce and Sean. Her heart belonged to her granddaughters, Kalyn and Cassidy McDonald and Holly Stringfellow. Pat is also survived by her husband, Billy Harrison; sister, Mary Holmes; brothers, Everett and Walter Lucas; stepchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends and family. A special thanks to USA Mitchell Cancer Center, Gentiva Hospice, special family friend (and) adopted daughter, Pamela Dearing. The family would also like to give a special thank you for an awesome on the photo slide show by Dylan Mitchell Productions. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Stringfellow, Sean McDonald, Mickey Stringfellow, Gene Freeman, Dan Hanbury and Troy Bland. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Holmes and Bill Turner.
