I remember we were safety patrols together at Orchard elementary in the 5th grade. He was always laughing, always joking. Whenever I come to Mobile I drive right by his gravesite. I always stop and talk with him. 

   Paul has been a very dear friend for so many years; the kind I could count on for anything within his power. He rightly trusted likewise in me. This was a wonderful privilege most will never have.
    After our Lord,  his wife Rhonda made him the complete man we all loved. He was proud of his daughters and grandchildren and spoke of them oftentimes. Paul’s family will be blessed for generations because of his faithfulness to  God.  This is my confidence. 
   Until we meet again, so long old friend!

Don an I send our love and prayers to the family. Gene is Don’s cousin and a man of integrity. So Paul had to have this wonderful trait  because Peggy too is a lady of integrity. Our country needs men of integrity.... which comes from knowing Christ . Resting in His Shadow. 

I worked with Paul and Todd at the mill for 10 years.  He was a fine fellow that would help you any way that he could.  Since IP closed, I use to run into Paul at the ballpark and gas stations, I wish that there were more peoples like him, then maybe this world would be better.  Going to miss seeing and talking with him.

I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet or know Paul, but I know his dad, Mr. Gene, and just wanted to send my condolences to his family.

Rhonda, Nicole, Rachel, family and friends. I pray that you will take comfort in knowing that Paul is no longer in pain and is in the comfort and loving arms of Christ.  I am praying for the same comfort and knowledge for you.  

I met Paul at Lafitte Baptist Church and soon began to appreciate and love him for his service to The Lord.  I really appreciated his honesty and the way he would stand up for his beliefs.   

I learned from his Sunday School Class that he was loved and appreciated by the senior men he taught. They thought very highly of him.  I suspect Paul learned a few things from them as well.   Paul was such a hard worker and faithful to his church.  He was loved and appreciated by everyone.  He will be greatly missed by Lafitte and its members.

I met Paul in the 4th grade at Orchard elementary school. We went to middle school, high school, and college together. I have so many wonderful memories of him I would not even know where to start. I moved away from Mobile in 1984 and only sporadically talked with Paul over the years but he will forever be remembered as one of my closest childhood friends. Lord knows he has been in my heart for 50 years and I think the world of him. 

I grew up with Paul and Todd in Orchard estates and went to Orchard Baptist with he and his family . I remember Paul as  a sweet kind person that got along with everybody he was funny at times bt was a lil shy back then .  I’m saddened to hear of his passing it’s breaks my heart .. Thoughts / prayers to Paul’s precious family and all involved RIP PAUL  til we meet again 

Mr Paul was a very good teacher, a little grumpy at times part of his charm, but I loved working around and with him on anything.  He was a good man.  

I will truly miss my dear friend Mr.Paul..i only knew him for a short period of time while working at Barry Steam plant in Bucks,Alabama...He use to Pat me on the shoulder and ask us house keepers how we are doing every time he would see us..I am praying for the family.May The Lord continue to give each and everyone strength. Mr. Paul was such a good man and will truly be missed.

Shaw class of '85, so I'm a few years younger than Paul but him and his family lived 2 doors down from us in Orchard Estates. Many years later ( October 2006 ) I started at Plant Barry and ran into Paul. Always a pleasure chatting with him and he always had a smile no matter what.
