Bobby retired from Golden Stevedoring, as a crane operator, He was also a Mason and carpenter. Bobby was a loyal, loving, honest and hardworking man. He would draw you in by telling stories of his life experiences. He could sing and dance like no other. He was an avid Alabama football fan, and loved to fish and hunt, but most of all, loved his family, dogs and the Lord.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Luellen Adcock ; 3 brothers, Benjamin Adcock Jr, Roy Adcock and Billy Ray Adcock ; 4 sisters, Betty Crissler, Wanda Varden, Grace Hitchcock and Margaret Tucker and 1 step-son Robbie Leaird.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Darlene Adcock, daughters, Lisa Brown, Tammy ( David ) Stolz and Kim ( Stan ) Clayton, 2 step-sons Lee Dickinson and Shane McGhee, 1 step-daughter Angela Knapp; 13 grandchildren, Keith Phillips, Trista Hall, Dustin Cogsdell, Samantha Gould, Gregory Stolz, Devin Dickinson, Drew Byrd, Landon Dickinson, Charlie Harrison, Abi Fables, Katie Harrison, Jason Wilson and Daniel Wilson ; 3 sisters, Gladys (Ronnie) Norman, Linda Adcock and Margie (Ronnie) Grantham, 2 daughter-in-law Peggy Roberts, Ann Leaird; and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Robert will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama 36671.
