Robert E. Cantrell

Robert Ernest Cantrell age 71, resident of Eight Mile, AL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Wesley and Ava Marie McCrory Cantrell and brother-in-law William Herndon.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his loving and devoted wife Shirley Herndon Cantrell, brother Carl Cantrell (Retha), sisters-in-law Paula (Sib)Howell, Pam Herndon, brothers-in-law Tom Herndon (Rhonda), Allen Herndon (Patty), nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Visitation will be held at Chickasaw Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time of 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Lott Cemetery, Lott Cemetery Road, Georgetown, AL.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be offered to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at Pancan.org or Mike's Food Pantry at Chickasaw Methodist Church, Chickasaw, AL.
