Robert Lee “Leaky” Moak – Born 8/13/30 in Meridian, MS and a longtime resident of Saraland, AL went to be with the Lord September 19, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Laverne Moak; four sons, Rob (Terri) Moak of Phoenix, AZ, Ken Moak of Saraland, Brian (Stephanie) Moak of Malcolm and Scott Moak of Creola; one daughter, Julie (Ken) Sanderson of Saraland; four grandchildren, Chris and Lucas Moak, Dillon and Logan Sanderson; one daughter-in-law, Christi Moak of Mobile; one special friend, Ed Smith and Pastor Gary Shockley; many nieces, nephews and friends. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Leyte during the Korean War. He was retired from Scott Paper Company after 34 years of service and was a long time member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church. Our special thanks to Cindy Osborne for her loving care. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
