Robert C. Pullen

Robert C. Pullen – an 87 year-old native of Avera, MS and a resident of Eight Mile, AL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 17, 2017. Mr. Pullen was a longtime, faithful member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church. He retired from Alabama Power Company as a supervisor after 42 years of service and was a Korean War veteran of the United States Army. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Pullen will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Betty M. Pullen; daughters, Connie M. Bolter (Tony) and Sharon L. Kirksey (Wayne); granddaughters, Rachel Adelsen (Tyler) and Meredith Grant (Daniel); other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, 6145, Highway 45, Eight Mile, AL 36613.
