Ronald Wayne McKee Sr.

Ronald Wayne McKee, Sr., Born October 20, 1946, lifelong resident of Eight Mile, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home, April 12, 2025, surrounded by his wife and family. Ronnie, also known as “PeeWee”, was 78. He was preceded in death by his father, John H. McKee, Sr, his mother, Juanita McKee Dixon and brother John Harold McKee, Jr., John (Johnny) Harold McKee, lll and Misty McKee.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 58 years, Connie Kendrick McKee, sons; Ron McKee, Kevin McKee, Mark (Alicia) McKee, Jeff McKee (Sandra). Ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends also survive him. He will be dearly missed by all .

Ronnie retired in 2002 after many years of service with Alabama Power Company. He loved the outdoors and throughout his life you could find him hunting, fishing, working with his tools, riding his tractors or his golf cart.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Valhalla Cemetery, Eight Mile, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey McKee, Cole McKee, John Dillon McKee, Chase McKee, Patrick Hyatt and Clay Smith.
