Ruth Anita Cox

Mrs. Ruth Anita Cox, age 69, resident of Semmes, AL, went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, George E. Grimes, and brothers, Harvey, Horace, Donny Grimes and brother-in-law, Lamar Fountain.

Mrs. Cox retired after many years of service in the Deli at Winn Dixie.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Danny R. Cox, mother, Ruth B. Grimes and children; Chasity Burke (Randy), Tanya McCammon (Jason), Jennifer Partsch (Josh) and Joey Cox (Jessica) She is also survived by her grandchildren; Nikole, Ryan, Logan, Austin (Olivia), Murphy (Bailey), Hunter, Chase, Blake, Mara, Cooper, Benjamin, Jack, Ryder, great-grandchild, Analeigh, brother, Johnny Grimes (Flora), sister, Amy Fountain, sisters-in-law, Deborah Grimes and Bleandia Grimes. Many other family and friends survive her.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgha Holiness Church Cemetery, Leakesville, Mississippi.
