Sammie Elie Lee – a 90 year-old native of McKenzie, AL and a longtime resident of Chickasaw passed away at his home on Monday, July 24, 2017. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army and retired from the City of Chickasaw as the Maintenance Superintendent after many years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Lillian Lee; children, Ronnie Lee, Michael Lee (Shelia), and Rita Jarrell (Terry); 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great, great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
