Mrs. Sherry Ann Roy, longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester Andrew and Mary Inez Crim, sister, Mary Joyce Toxey Bowdin and brother, Chester Andrew Crim, Jr.
Mrs. Roy was a certified dog groomer and owner of Tasha's Poodle Boutique. She was a faithful member of Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Staniel Monroe Roy, Jr and children; Michael A. Roy (Sheryl), Robert A. Roy (Peggy), Sherry Denise Roy Whatley (Danny) and Jeffrey Monroe Roy. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Whatley, Matthew Whatley, Logan Whatley, Jim Meriwether, Jeremy Cook and Eric Whatley. Honorary will be Chance Cook.
