Shirley Ann Moore was born November 4, 1937 in Barrytown, Alabama in Choctaw County, Alabama. Shirley previously resided in Creola, Alabama. She passed away December 15, 2018 in Mobile, Alabama. She was the daughter of L.Z. and Fannie Moore. Shirley was a member of Axis Baptist Church.
Shirley graduated from Choctaw County High School in Butler, Alabama. Shirley enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts of various kinds. She especially enjoyed the outdoors and growing plants in her yard. She maintained knowledge of plants and shared this with other. She adored kittens and small caged birds.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mabel Sutherland, and nephew Ken Sutherland.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Hoffman (Clayton) of Amarillo, Texas, her brother, Mickey Moore, of Creola, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama January 2, 2019.
Visitation is at 11:00 AM followed by the memorial service at 12:00 noon.
Interment will be at 3:00 PM in Womack Hill Cemetery, Womack Hill, Alabama.
