Shirley Jane Walker

Shirley Jane Walker – a 69 year-old native of Dayton, Ohio and longtime resident of Wilmer passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. Mrs. Walker was a 34 year member of Bible Missionary Church. She will forever be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Malone Walker, Jr. She is survived by her children, Dewey Malone Walker, III (Vivian), Thomas Darren Walker (Melinda), and Sandra Christine Walker (Christian “Boogie” Bolden); grandchildren, Timothy Dustin Walker, Ryan Aubrey Miller, Garrett Wayne Walker, and Bethany Rae Walker; sisters, Mildred Jones, Barbara Jones, and Esther Sweat; brother, Rocky Snider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
