Thomas Eugene Dixon

Mr. Thomas Eugene Dixon, age 82, longtime resident of Semmes, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ned and Minnie Mae Bryant Dixon, sisters; Audrey Dixon, Mary Ann Dixon Jackson , brothers; Joseph Lee Dixon and Donald James Dixon. Mr. Dixon served his country honorably in the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era. He worked for many years as an offshore construction operator, most recently with CMM of Mexico. Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Gayle G. Dixon and children; Roger Eugene Dixon, Julie Eileen Dixon, Crystal Eiron Dixon, Mark Dixon, Tressie Flanigen and Kellie Shoemaker. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Vincent Dixon, Daniel Maurice Dixon, his 11 grandchildren; Gaven, Gabrielle, Elizabeth, Andrew, Caleb , Joseph , Riley, Kyler, Sophia, Sierra, Victoria and new great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace Dixon and great-grandson. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Indian Springs Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
