He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha Criswell Parnell. Survivors include two sons Dale Parnell and Deroy Parnell and brother Preston (Vickie) Parnell.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trinity Faith Bible Church, Eight Mile, Alabama. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 12:00 PM, Eight Mile, Alabama 36613. A burial will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Fairhope Baptist Cemetery, Tibbie, Alabama.
