Walter Robert "Bobby" Harris

Walter Robert "Bobby" Harris – an 82 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Chunchula passed away at his home on Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a long time truck driver. Mr. Harris was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Harris and Nellie Harris, and son, Robert Leland Harris. Mr. Harris is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Leslie Evelyn Harris; children, Mark Harris (Tonnia), Kelly Conklin (Fred), and Casey Harris (Julie/Crystal); grandchildren, Robert "B.J." Baughcum (Lindsey), Frederick L. Conklin (Danielle), Leslie Herrin (Thomas), Robert Allen Harris (Meagan), Bobby Harris, Marcus Harris, and Jacob Harris; brothers, Johnny Harris, Steve Harris, and Raymond Harris; sister, Jeannette; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
