William Earl Langley

Bill was an especially sweet and gentle soul who lived a life of impeccable integrity serving as an earthly role model for his extended family whom he adored. Bill was preceded into heaven by his wife of over fifty years, Ola Langley and his daughter, Renee Langley. Bill was a resident of Mobile for nearly 70 years and was a dedicated employee of WKRG for forty years where he served as a broadcast engineer.

Bill is survived by his son David E. (Pam) Langley and three adult grandchildren; Shana (Robbie) Smith, Raegen (Ross) Rushing and Bryant (Melissa) Langley and six great grandchildren; Logan and Rowan Rushing, Lily and Olivia Langley and Kenley and Riley Smith. Bill is further survived by his four living siblings; Flora Cunningham, Norma Goff, Gene Langley and Alford Langley all of the Mobile area. Also to be honored is his special friend and faithful caregiver to the Langley family for many years, Cheri Walker.

The family will celebrate his life at a Wake at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m. with a service there on Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
