Willie Pearl Taylor – a long time resident of Saraland passed away February 17, 2011 at a local hospital. She was 79 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kermit Grey Taylor; and two brothers, John R. Criswell of Creola, AL and Kenneth Criswell of Mobile, AL. Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Randy) Fornes of Mt. Vernon, AL; three sons, Douglas Taylor, Elbert (Annette) of Athens, GA and William (Mary) Taylor of Jackson, AL; six grandchildren, Michael (Tracey) Stacey, Dana Stacey, Daniel Fornes, Tiffany Fornes, Noal Roney, Kristy Blackmon; ten great grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Daniel Blayne Stifflemire, Ethan J. Rivers, Lillianna D. Rivers, Sean G. Stacey, Devin Dickinson, Nicholas Roney, Aliyah Roney, Christian Roney and Paige Marcett; and many friends. Funeral services will be Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Fountain of Faith Church. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery.
