

Annette’s known by many for her soft and sweet personality that warmed all hearts and framed our lives with love . She was happiest in her garden and sharing time with her family and friends. Annette looked forward to baking for the holidays with loved ones around the table. Her interest was fulfilled in flower gardens surrounding her home.
She was a dedicated wife to her husband Ray L. Blackman, mother and business owner. She partnered with her husband Ray in his electrical engineering company: Raynet Corporation. They designed and built many homes for sale in Florida as well as their last residence. Ray and Annette grew up, met and married in North Carolina. They enjoyed cruise ship traveling from Alaska to Europe.
Ray and Annette had four children: D. Neil Blackman, Sharon Lynette Blackman, Donna Kay Jones and Sandra Faye Cole ( deceased). She is survived by her grandchildren : Aubrey and Colton and great grandchildren: Kiley, Maverick, Payton, Ryan ,Landon, Paisley, Joseph and Sarah.
Our mothers’ strength and positive demeanor guided us through difficult times. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is now in the loving embrace of her husband and Father God.
A Committal Service will be held at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232, US, on March 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
