Ashton Ronald Nowak, born on November 3, 2003, unexpectedly left this earth, at age 22, on February 18, 2026. He left behind a legacy of energy, ambition, and a presence that will never be forgotten. Ashton was truly one of a kind. His charismatic and magnetic personality had a way of commanding any room he walked into-not with arrogance- but confidence and quick wit. People were naturally drawn to him and his ability to connect made him unforgettable to everyone he met. Ashton lived life boldly and on his own terms.
As a natural entrepreneur, Ashton had many ideas to be on the cutting edge of the next best thing. He was deeply immersed in the world of trading sports cards. He had his own channel where he sold the next best cards and looked to find the biggest autographs out there. He was always ahead of the curve and driven by curiosity, vision and success. He didn't just follow trends--he created his own path.
Ashton’s love of poker led him to become a talented poker dealer. He brought energy, personality, and skill to every table. This is why he became so successful.
He thrived in fast-paced environments and had a natural ability to engage with people from all walks of life.
Beyond his ambition, Ashton found peace in the ocean. As a certified passionate scuba diver, he was drawn to the beauty of marine life -a place where he felt truly free. He loved the underwater, which led him to collect, grow, and sell coral in his home. Ashton lived fully, fearlessly, and with intention.
Ashton lived an extremely short life. Though his time here was far too short, his impact will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him. His mother, father and, brother meant the world to him . His deep bond with his close family and friends will never be broken. Even though he left this world, his love was so grand that he has now transformed to our forever guardian angel . We take comfort in our faith, trusting that Ashton is now at peace in God's presence
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."-- 2 Timothy 4:7
Ashton is lovingly survived by his mother, Marissa Shidel; his father, Neil Nowak (Kimberly Thors); his brother, Carson Shidel (Haley Wood) ;his grandmothers, Rebecca Smith (Rick Baines); Camille Nowak and his aunts, uncles, his cousins, along with many extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
