Brent L. Blosser

He was born on August 9, 1955 in Cheektowaga, New York to the late LaVerne and Gladys Blosser.

Brent was predeceased by his children, Amy Michelle Blosser, Douglass Ryan Blosser and Laura Lee Blosser and brother, Darryl Reed Blosser. Survivors include his devoted wife of 44 years, Cynthia Blosser; loving son, Greg Blosser; sister, Karen Forest; cherished grandchildren, Bobbi Blosser and Brandon Blosser. He was eagerly awaiting the birth of his great-granddaughter.

Brent served over 30 years before retiring with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. He graduated from Sarasota High School and was a proud member of their 1973 state championship winning baseball team. Along with his two sons, he was named one of the top 50 all-time baseball players by the Sarasota Herald Tribune. He was very active in coaching youth baseball including Sarasota Little League and Sarasota Babe Ruth League where he touched many lives. He also served as a coach for the Sarasota High School’s Sailors baseball team as their hitting coach for many years.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 11am at Covenant Life Church, 8490 McIntosh Rd, Sarasota.

A graveside burial service will immediately follow at Palms Robarts Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota.

Brent will be deeply missed and forever loved.
