You were a good man Chuck. Sorry I missed your service. You meant so much to so many. You were great family man and gave a lot back to your community. I enjoyed the times we spent together in the office trying to solve all the worlds problems and talking about good times our kids brought to our lives. You will be missed by many. Words can not express what Chuck has meant to me since 2007 when I met him at Merrill Lynch.  We started as colleagues, became friends, then became partners but most importantly he became like a big brother to me.  Since I started spending time with him, I was blessed to be around him  in the office a lot over the years as well as out of the office.  He always stressed that being a good dad and husband was so important.  He said when you have a family make sure  to put your family first and enjoy your kids as they grow up too quick and if you are lucky you will meet that person like he did with Michelle.  He loved coaching his daughter Kayla at basketball and later in life he was so proud of the woman she became.  He was a proud papa when she followed in his footsteps and started working for Morgan Stanley in NY and he always talked to me about her.   In regards to his son Bryce, I was fortunate to spend many Saturday mornings with him as he coached his son Bryce and tons of local youths at Sarasota Sundevils football and he always made me feel like family when I went.  He prided himself on going to all his son's Venice  high school football games and when Bryce won a state championship and dairy farmer player of the year Chuck was so proud of him.  Chuck also was proud of the fact that he had a great relationship with his brother Craig and how Craig prospered at Team Choice and then eventually doing his own thing.  Chuck inspired me to be a better financial advisor, better person and better father.  I followed his lead and example in so many ways and I feel the world will not be as bright a place without him.  Thanks for all the time we spent together and just know you will be missed by me.

I was lucky to meet Chuck through his work as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.  He was always friendly, positive, dedicated, and had great work ethic.  We had many conversations about raising successful kids, and I know he was very proud of his kids.  He was a good man, and I will miss the many laughs we shared over the years.  My prayers are with his family for such a terrible loss.

I first met Chuck back in 1994 at the Venice Merrill office.  He was in the early stages of his career.  

Over the years, I had the pleasure of interacting with Chuck in various roles as a manager and a fellow financial advisor colleague.

Chuck was always very thoughtful , organized and carried a great sense of humor.  He was a rare combination of success wrapped in humility .  We shared many conversations covering a range of topics over the years.

He and Michelle were always  very cordial towards our family .  He was very proud of his children.

I  always looked forward to our interactions and will miss him.

Charles Raymond Carpenter III, will always be remembered as a great guy. I cherish our chats and am honored to call you my work friend. You'll be missed and my thoughts go out to you and your family. Thank you for being you.

I am so very sorry Michelle, Kayla and Bryce and the rest of the family. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Chuck was a wonderful, successful, caring Dad, Husband and Friend.

My heart goes out to the Carpenter family . Chuck was such a kind warm gentleman who was smart and trustworthy. He helped me and my family with our finances , after our mother died . May the Lord bestow peace in his family and may Chuck rest in peace .
