He is survived by his wife, Anna Jane; son, Billy Evers of Sarasota; daughter, Stephanie Evans Chan of Lakewood Ranch; grandson, Michael Chan of Lakewood Ranch; brothers, Cecil Evers of Sarasota, Clayton Evers of Wachula, Fla.; sisters, Arlene Platt of Zolfo Springs Fla., Alice "Susie" Norris of Wachula, Fla.
Dallas was a member of Bee Ridge Baptist Church and Limestone Baptist Church.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Letter Carrier, and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in the Korean War.
Dallas was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Limestone Baptist Church, Ona, Fla. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
