Damian Brander

Damian (Dan) Brander left the world all too soon. Dan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and was an incredible light to everyone he encountered in his lifetime. He grew up in Vestal, NY.  and attended Ithaca College. After moving to Sarasota, FL. he became a union journeyman electrician and was a member of IBEW 915 for 52 years, since 1959. Dan leaves a legacy of love, selflessness and work ethic that will be hard to duplicate. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his brother Tim Cihiwsky (Angela), his children Daniel Brander (Sannie) and Sharon Perkins (Cris), as well as grandchildren Karra, Steele, Katie, Nicholas, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Sue Brander.

A visitation for Damian will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
