

She was the loving mother of Barbara Jean Harris (Paul), Susan Lynn Lina (Bruce), Donna Lee Mask (Randy), David Michael Kerns (Cindy), Kimberly Rebecca Osborne (Eric), Byron Wesley Kerns (Karen).
The dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Doris is the eldest sister of her siblings, Marjorie Ann Besley, William Robert Daniels, Mildred Eileen Stephens, Janet Lee Daniels, and Charles Burton Daniels. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Doris was a kind, gentle woman. She believed in God and her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her all her life. She loved to be around people and enjoyed going places. She was extremely talented and artistic in many ways, some of which were embroidery, needlepoint and acrylic painting. She loved horses and dogs and participated in Horse and Dog Shows. She was a wonderful daughter to the late Byron Lee Daniels and the late Mildred Elizabeth MacArthur, as well a devoted mother, sister and friend to many people throughout her life. Her home was always open to the many friends of her children, and she was like another mother to them. Doris resided at The Pines of Sarasota for the last three years and was in the loving care of many Nurses, Doctors, and CNA’s who got to know her and loved her. She will be deeply missed by so many, but especially by her six children.
A burial and memorial service will be held later in Daytona Beach, Florida.
