
a two year onset of dementia, on Sunday morning October 24, 2021 surrounded by friends and family.
He was born in Bronx, N.Y. on December 3, 1939 as the first child of Edward D. Westerfield and Lillian Buckley Westerfield. Raised in Stamford, Conn he graduated from Stamford High School in 1958, and entered the United States Air Force where he served during Vietnam as a technical support specialist on the B-52 bomber. He joined the Boeing Aircraft Company following his military service and lived in Seattle, Washington where he made many friends. He became the Production Manager for the Lighthouse for the Blind upon moving back to Danbury, Conn, and retired to Danbury where he lived for 30+ years.
He enjoyed his RV travels throughout the USA during his retirement and especially enjoyed hosting his beloved sister "Donna" Patricia Westerfield on those trips and sightseeing adventures.
He is proceeded in death by his sister and parents.
Private family services and internment will follow next summer at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, Connecticut alongside his sister, mother, father, and grandparents.
