Estela Teresa Medina

Estela Teresa Medina, age 91, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2020. Estela was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic and lived a life full of purpose and love, dedicating herself to what she valued most, serving God and others. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francisco Medina and her son, Francisco Medina Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Nora Medina (Michael Thornton), Amy Rumley (Mark Rumley), Yolanda Lasater-Pleasants (John Pleasants, deceased), Lourdes Lindenauer (Steven Lindenauer), Margarita Medina; her grandchildren Alex Medina, Michael Medina, Andrew Chaise, James Hahn, Katharine Calhoun, Gary Lindenauer, Rachel Lindenauer, Daniel Lasater and David Lasater; her great grandchildren, Julian Calhoun, Jameson Hahn, Evangeline Calhoun, Sebastian Medina, Jacob Medina, Cameron Hahn, Nina Hahn and Leilani Lindenauer; and four sisters. She resides among the angels in heaven and will, as always, watch over us and guide us...until we meet again.

A visitation for Estela will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Martha Catholic Church, 200 N Orange Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236. A graveside service will follow Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at Palms Memorial Park.
