Frances Marie Wilson

Frances was born Frances Marie Michl to Frank and Emily of Lyons, IL; sister to Helen (Seifert) and Sylvia on September 10, 1918. She and her loving and devoted husband of 70 years George were married in 1943 and raised daughter Patricia (Ludlow) and son Gregory (wife Elizabeth) in La Grange, IL. They attended St. Cletus RCC. After George’s retirement in 1982 they moved to Sarasota, FL and were active parishioners at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RCC. For the past several years George and Fran lived with family in Wake Forest, NC. She loved to dance, cook, garden, and above all provide for her family.

She is survived by her husband George, daughter Patricia, son Gregory; grandsons Patrick Ballard of San Antonio, TX and Charles Wilson (wife Stephanie) of Newark, DE; Granddaughters Kimberly Rumley Wilson (husband Stewart) of Camby, IN, Catherine Ludlow and Colleen Ludlow of St. Petersburg, FL; great-grandchildren Heaven Presley Ludlow, Lily Rumley, Delaney Mae Rumley, niece Judy DiMateo Seifert (husband Tony) and last but not least her beloved dog, Miss Scarlett.

A viewing for friends will be held on Friday August 16, 2013 at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave. Sarasota at 10AM.

Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RCC, 833 Magellan Dr. Sarasota at 12:30PM followed by interment at 2PM in Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.

A celebration of Fran’s life (and 95th birthday) will also be held on Sunday, 9/8/2013 at 1PM in Wake Forest, 2621 Forest Lake Ct.
