

Fred was born in Oneida, NY on May 26, 1922, the eighth and youngest child of Ben and Mary DeAngelo Regulbuto. He lived a long, full, and colorful life. As a young man, he was an actor in New York City. During WWII, he enlisted in the army and was stationed in India. Upon his return, he met and married Jennie Nastasi Regulbuto and settled in Canastota, NY. It was in this area that he honed his skills and became a master chef and baker. Later, he opened the popular Tina Marie Pastry Shop in Canastota, known for its beautiful wedding cakes, delicious pastries, and fine breads, and then with his son Michael, he owned and operated the Madison Bakery in Oneida, NY. Retiring to Florida in 1977, Fred was not only dedicated to his church; he always put his faith into practice with his many acts of generosity and kindness.
Fred was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Jennie Regulbuto. He is survived by his daughter Tina Mossbarger and husband Mark of Sarasota, FL; sons Gregory Regulbuto and wife, Betsy, of Canastota, NY, Michael Regulbuto of Sarasota, FL, and Steven Regulbuto of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Carson, Jennie Regulbuto Manwarren, and Susie Regulbuto, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 12, at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL, at noon.
