Harold L. Shaffer, 90 of Sebastian, passed away on June 28, 2013 in Sarasota, FL.
Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, he had lived in Miami, FL for many years before moving to Sebastian.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Mari-Jean Shaffer; 3 sons, Danny (Debbie) Shaffer, Paul (Lisa) Shaffer and Eric (Nicole) Shaffer; 2 daughters, Catherine Shaffer and Teresa Shaffer; 3 brothers, Andrew (Nettie) Shaffer, Brady (Edna) Shaffer and Benny Shaffer; a sister, Carol (Stanley) Goodall; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 12:00pm at the funeral home with interment following at Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors.
