Isaura was a graduate of New Bedford High School, Brooklyn College and New York University. She taught High School and Collage levels in English and speech. Isaura was Secretary of speech Associate at NYU. She was a translator and decoder during WW II for the OSS as well as Pianist and lyric coloratura with training from NYU. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1954 and derived great joy from studying the Bible and teaching others about what she learned. Especially important to her was Jehovah’s promised Kingdom with Jesus Christ as its King as well as the resurrection hope as taught by Jesus.
Isaura is survived by her loving daughter, Izaura Luiza (Dolly) Nichols; cherished grandchildren, James Nichols, Elise Nichols, Jeremy Nichols and great grandchildren, Michael and Julian Falzone. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Alberto Teixeira and sisters, Maria Castella Moniz and Connie R.C. Castella Ferreira.
Services will begimn at 1 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 5148 17th St., Sarasota, FL.
