We met Alex and Kate nearly twenty years ago when they used to attend Fredericks fitness classes.  Instantly we felt their warm friendship, which has remained over the years.  Alex was an inspiration and a role model.  He lived life well, doing all the right things, with a smile and an infectious laugh.  We still can't believe he's gone.  The memories of Alex and his zest for life will stay with us and inspire us both forever.  God bless you Alex.

We celebrated your life with a wonderfull 'celebration of life service" for you on friday 27th April at whichurch golf club. The turnout of your friends was fantastic, many emotional and amusing speeches spoken in your honour. I did your Eulogy and everyone was amazed and impressed. You would have been proud Al' we all miss and love you dearly. I love you and miss you Darling Alex. Love Katie. xx

Alex was a true gentleman with charm, intelligence, wit, kindness and a stregnth of character that is so rare today. His passion for life made him a joy to be with and he was a man that i feel honoured to have known and to have been able to call my friend. My most sincere condolances to Katie and his family. Alex will be remembered with fondness and warmth. During a very tough time in my life, Alex once told me that 'to love and be loved is to feel the sun shine on you from both sides'. Whilst the sun will come up in the morning, it will feel colder without him by our side.

We are so sad and shocked at the sudden loss of Alex. A wonderful husband who adored you Katie as you did him. His laugh would light up the room, he lived life to the full and everyone who knew Alex loved him,. We feel your loss Katie. We will treasure the lovely memories of him. His is forever in our hearts. For us, Palm Grove will never be the same without Alex.  He was a remarkable person who from the first moment you met him conveyed a sense you were now a friend.  We will never forget Alex and he will live forever in our hearts and minds.
