James is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Geneva; loving daughter, Sherraine Lomerson (Roland Jr.); brother, Ralph Hensley and cherished granddaughter, Erin Simson (Perry) and great grandson, Hunter Simson.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of service at 2 pm, at Palms Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232 with a luncheon to follow at the funeral home.
