
Jerald G. Williams, Jr. of Sarasota, Florida, went home to the Lord on April 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born March 25, 1963 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Jerald Gene Williams, Sr. and Evelyn (St. Claire) Williams. Jerry missed his mother’s birthday by a matter of hours.
Jerry spent several childhood years on his grandparents, the late Carl E. Williams Sr. and Rose (Kujawski) Williams, dairy farm in Edgar, Wisconsin, where he was lovingly spoiled by his aunts, Dawn (Williams) Hernandez and the late Judy (Williams) Miller. He will always be rememberd as the little blonde boy with big sad eyes. He was a child abuse survivor.
Jerry took up piano and ballet where he could express his feelings in song or dance. For a time he lived in Pflugerville, Texas and danced with Ballet Austin (Texas). His father and he were extremely close.
Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Christina Williams; grandparents, Carl and Rose (Kujawski) Williams; his beloved aunt, Judy; and many numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father, Jerald G. Williams Sr., of Doral, FL; special friend and care giver, Andrea Page, of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Robin and Lisa Garski and Abbi Williams, of Stevens Point, WI; brothers, James Williams, of Stevens Point, WI, Kurt Lloyd, of Marshfield, WI; aunts, Dawn (Francisco Donjuan) Hernandez, of Dale, TX, Louise (Glenn) Pilgrim, of Pilager, MN, Dorothy (Alan) Roerig, of Kaukauna, WI, Bernie (Jim) Kemp, of Waupaca, WI, Angeline Williams, of Round Lake, Il, Audrey Williams, of Riverview, FL; uncles, Myron (Beverly) Williams, of Marshfield, WI and Tom Miller, of Edgar, WI. , numerous cousins and many close friends he considered family.
The pain is gone ever more, When Jerry Jr. entered heavens door. He’s with his grandparent’s with whom he once lived, They have years of hugs to give. Jerry’s piano for the heavenly choir, While dancing from cloud to cloud is his main desire. The little boy with the big sad eyes, To the man he became to realize. We’ll hear his voice in the morning birds song, And know our love for him will be forever strong.
Graveside services will be held at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232 on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 am.
