John Palmer Tewksbury, 81, formerly of Long Island, NY died January 14, 2011.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota. Services will be held 10:00am Wednesday at the funeral home with interment following at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores; nine children; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He retired as Advertising Sales Manager from Newsday newspaper after 49 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
