Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
Services will be held Sunday, 3:00pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Sarah; two daughters, Wanda McMurry of Sarasota and Cynthia Taylor of Parrish; a son, Charles of Redding, CA; two stepsons, Michael Quinney of Baltimore, MD and Stephen Quinney of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Katherine Wood of Wimauma and Elizabeth DeLoach of Sarasota; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
