

She was born June I5, 1940 in Springfield, Massachusetts and lived in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire for many years.
There, she worked in Legislative Affairs for the Properly Casualty Insurance Industry, and owned the Serendipity Antiques Shop. She moved to Florida in 1984, where she became a real estate broker working with Lyndsay P. White in the Cape Haze area. In 2001, she moved to Sarasota, where she joined Michael Saunders and Company.
Judy was renowned as a gourmet cook and tireless entertainer. Each Thanksgiving, she invited upwards of forty people-none of whom had family in the area-to her home for dinner. (Her numerous preparations were described in the November 11, 2009 Herald Tribune.) She was also a loyal friend to many, including her neighbors in Silver Oak, who described her as "the soul of the street".
Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Karl S. Wallace; a first cousin, Madelyn K. Tremblay of Lee, Massachusetts; a second cousin, Linda Kay of Richmond, Massachusetts; and many treasured friends.
A memorial service will be held 10:30am Friday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of individual choice.
