Kamla Gangadeen, 81 of Sarasota, FL, went to be with the Lord on 2-5-2016.
Kamla is survived by her children and (sons/daughters in law) Rosana (Ravi) Ellana, Steve (Vanessa) Gangadeen, Marcus Gangadeen, Selwyn (Savi) Gangadeen and Susan (Kemal) Bachu; grandchildren Milford, Amit, Jonathan, Annisa, Danielle, Anita, Jon, Alison, Artie, & Anju; great grand-children Ariana, Camryn, David, Joshua, Siara, Sabrina, Adrian, Sean, Sophia, Genevieve, Julia & Ella; sister Rose, in-laws Esther and Augustus.
Kamla was preceded by her husband, Ronald, of 61 years, two sisters (Muni and Polly), and granddaughter Vashti.
Kamla enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing and spending time with family and loved ones. She always put family first.
She is a very special lady and has the strength of steel. She worked hard in every aspect for her family life and made many sacrifices. One of those is getting her family to move to the USA for a better life and forty-three years ago, she made that happen. We can’t thank her enough for her perseverance in ensuring we had a better future. She is a fine example of what a mother should be; always thinking of her family needs before her own.
She will be missed.
