Born on April 1, 1942, in Dobbs Ferry, New York, Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Dominick and Della Salerno. He graduated from Riverview High School in 1960 and remained a proud member of the Sarasota community throughout his life.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers Tony, Sonny, and David Salerno; his sister Donna Pippin and her husband George; and sister-in-law Pat Salerno.
He is survived by sons, Kenneth Martin Salerno Jr., Scott Charles Salerno (Alycia), and Jeffry Earl Salerno (Clarice), and his cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Kenny, Justin, Jeffry Jr., Spencer, Vincent, Michael, and Michelle. He also leaves behind his siblings Theresa Jones and Ritchie Salerno (Mary Ann), and sister-in-law Mary Salerno.
Mr. Salerno was cremated, and his ashes will be interred at Palms Memorial Park at a later date.
