He was born in Michigan on May 20, 1951. Kim graduated from Kent City. He was married to Patricia. Kim had a career in construction for Bachert’s Remodeling. He had a passion for reading, casinos, and his family.
Kim is preceded in death by his son, James Reid. He is survived by his children, Tamera Smith (Chadd), Nicole Reid, and Adam Bachert; his grandchildren, Jordon Smith (Chloe), Michael Smith (Aubrey), Jacob Smith, Braydon Smith, Sophia Smith, Jessica Reid, Avery Avallone, and Logan Avallone; his great-grandchildren, Rhyland and Wilder.
A private memorial will be held in Michigan this summer.
