Lewis retired from Allstate Insurance Company in New Jersey in 1987 after a successful career working as a Chartered Life Underwriter. He was also a veteran after proudly serving his country in the United States Navy.
Lewis is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Powers; two sons, Jack (Angie) Powers, and Jeffery (Debbie) Powers; Five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A private committal service will be held for Lewis, with a Memorial Mass at a later date.
