Linda was born in Sarasota, Florida, on July 3, 1965, to the late Marion and Foster Gunther, Sr. She graduated from Riverview High School and later attended Sarasota County Vocational Technical Center, where she earned her certification as a Medical Assistant.
Linda dedicated many years to the medical field, working at Sarasota Medical Center and taking pride in her profession. She was a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants, Inc.
Linda had a deep and lifelong love for animals. In her younger years, she was an accomplished equestrian, spending countless hours riding horseback and earning numerous trophies. She also had a special love for all things Disney, finding joy in collecting Disney memorabilia and traveling to Disney theme parks, where she cherished the happiness and wonder they brought her.
Linda is survived by her brother, Foster Gunther, III; her niece, Kila Bell; her great-niece, Morgan; and her ex-husband, Donald Donovan
A visitation will be held at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place after the funeral at Palms Memorial Park.
