

Linda B. Millard Singleton, of Sarasota, Florida passed on March 27, 2026, at the age of 77 surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others throughout her life. Linda was born on February 22, 1949 in Binghamton, New York.
Linda was a woman of remarkable intelligence, generosity, and heart. She devoted her career to caring for others as a registered nurse and later brought that same dedication and spirit into her work at Singleton Roofing, whether in her profession or her personal life she had a gift for making people feel supported and cared for.
Above all, Linda cherished her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Alvin Singleton; her five children, Paul Carpentier (Cassandra), Tad Kitchner (Megan), Nina Singleton, Amy Fulton (Chris) and Alexis Singleton; her five beloved grandchildren, Jane Kitchner, Michael Fulton, Milani Bennett and Christopher and Lauren Carpentier; her brother, Richmond Millard (Ruth); and a nephew, Sean Millard.
She was predeceased by her father, Richmond B Millard, her mother, Virginia C. Clark, and her step-father, Gerald F Clark.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, her quick mind, and the deep love she had for those closest to her.
Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and the light into the lives of many, and her legacy will live on through the family she adored.
A Funeral Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11:00 am at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park
