

Lisa was born in Worcester Ma and was the daughter of Ruth D. (Kiaulens) Dufresne and Carleton E. Dufresne who predeceased her.
Lisa received a master’s degree from Tufts University in Animals and Public Policy, she also held a BS in Animal Biology from University of Florida. She was the owner/operator of the performing horse show, Horses, Horses, Horses. Lisa was most at home in the performance world and traveled to many venues within the USA and abroad with her famous horse show and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Lisa enjoyed horses of all shapes and sizes. She held a USDF gold medal in dressage.
She is survived by her fiancé and long-time companion Jose Pages, her loyal assistant Jefferey Thatcher, Stepchildren Jose Pages (Karina) and their three children, Yesenia Pages and her two children, sisters Carleen Morin of Birmingham Al, Pamela (Robert) Caputo of Spencer Ma, Deborah Dufresne of Lakewood Ranch Fl, brother Michael (Joanne) Dufresne of Cumming GA, many nieces and nephews, and her four-legged animals. Her brother Carleton E. Dufresne III predeceased her.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, Sarasota Florida.
Lisa was highly active in Florida Mastiff Rescue and an active board member. In lieu of flowers donation to Mastiff Rescue of Florida are appreciated.
Lisa was a powerful force who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was the definition of following your dreams and living your best life. She will be greatly missed.
