Lydia Catherine Shrock

Dave and Catherine moved from Indiana to Sarasota, Florida in 1962, where they raised their family. Dave and Catherine were members of Sarasota Community Church. Catherine worked at Sunnyside Village for 20+ Years. She was admired by her colleagues, and loved by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory, are her surviving children, Kevin (Robin) Shrock, and Leann (Marc) Schlabach; sister, Paula (Tom) Eighsti; brother, Dan (Marlys) Slaubaugh; grandchildren, Lindsey (Keegan) Mills, Kelsey (Timothy) O’Loughlin, Jon (Jessica) Shrock, Justin Shrock, Jessica (Jesse) Boatwrite, Caitlin (Tyler) Roboski, Trent Schlabach, Jared (Jessica) Otting; great-grandchildren, Riley & London Mills, Noah & Ariya O’Loughlin, Wesley & Jack Shrock, Aniston Shrock and River Deets; and many nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, David Shrock; children, Dallas and Bruce Shrock; Parents, Dan & Elizabeth (Anderson) Slaubaugh; step-father, Harold Anderson; and sisters and their husbands, Marion and Charles Grumbo & Gloria and Dennis Douville.

A memorial service for Catherine will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:30 am, at Sarasota Community Church, 4041 Bahia Vista Street, in Sarasota.
