Susan Schwaid, 86, died February 6, 2015, at her home in the Meadows in Sarasota, Florida. Susan is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Dr. Harvey Schwaid, her son and daughter-in-law Steven and Karen Schwaid, her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Barbara Schwaid, and her daughter Victoria Schwaid and her partner Cheryl Morris, as well as six grandchildren and their spouses – Benjamin Schwaid and wife Jan, Gregory Schwaid and wife Miriya, Rachel Klimpel and husband Phillip, Adam Schwaid and wife Julie, Winter Schwaid-Lindner, and Dana Schwaid – and the promise of one great granddaughter due in April. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 9 at Temple Emanu-El in Sarasota, where Susan was a proud member of the Jewish community.
