She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Julius Lerner; loving sons Brad Lerner (Melissa) of Sarasota, FL and Evan Lerner (Marla) of Bridgewater, NJ; cherished grandchildren, Emily Stroud (Robert), Michelle Stern (Jordan) and Scott Lerner (Taylor), Samantha and Ariel Lerner; and great great grandchildren, Hayden, Reese, Harrison, Noa and Crosby and several nieces and nephews.
Mimi was preceded in death by her brother, Jules Rotman and sister, Selena Gitomer.
Friends and relatives will remember Mimi for many things. She was generous with her wit and always found the best in everyone she met. She was a doting wife, an exceptional mother, and fun and gregarious grandmother. Her glass was always half full and she shared her positive perspective on life freely with a witty mantra: "When life throws you a lemon, make lemonade."
